The Omega Princess and Her Two Leashes - Chapter 62
Chapter 62
The curtain was flapping wildly because of the vigorous movement inside. He caught a glimpse of two legs intertwined beneath the fabric, before they were hidden again.
He thought he had just seen something that looked like the shoes Arlenrose was wearing…
Camin furrowed his brow at the fleeting sense of familiarity. Of course, it was probably just his imagination, and it was clearly rude to peek at other people’s s*x lives…
But something about it bothered him.
Camin stared intently at the spot, then took a step towards it. As he walked quickly, just a few steps away,
“Where are you going in such a hurry?”
Someone blocked his path.
He recognized the familiar voice. Camin stopped, immediately realizing who it was.
“Brother…”
His usually stoic expression twitched slightly.
Even Camin Modreo couldn’t help but be surprised. His older brother, Crescent Modreo, who was supposed to be absent from the ball due to a carriage accident, was standing right in front of him.

It was a good start. Enrique de Fleurose, swirling the wine glass in his hand, assessed tonight’s ball. The pale olive-green white wine swirled within the clear glass, its color complementing his ash-blond hair—a deliberate choice, of course. Royalty couldn’t afford to be careless with even their drinks in public.
“You seem to be in a good mood, Your Highness.”
Enrique drew Violet closer, his arm circling her waist, and she settled onto his lap. The alpha princes of the kingdom enjoyed showing off their consorts by holding them close or presenting them to other alphas, but Enrique rarely touched Violet in public. After she became pregnant, he even hesitated to bring her out of their quarters.
The fact that Enrique was touching Violet at the ball meant he was truly in a good mood. He ran his hand over her thigh, which was perched atop his knee, and then over her rounded belly, now swollen with his child. He leaned down and pressed his lips against her neck.
“Yes. The beginning of the peace treaty is good. The Crown Prince’s attitude is more amicable than I expected. I was worried when he rejected you….”
At that moment, Violet’s body twitched slightly. It was a subtle reaction, but Enrique noticed it immediately, given their proximity.
“Violet, are you unhappy about that?”
He lifted his head and asked, and Violet forced a smile, quickly shaking her head.
“No, of course not.”
Enrique’s expression, which had briefly hardened, softened at her immediate response. He pulled her closer, burying her head in his chest.
“Yes, it’s your duty as the consort of royalty. I’ve largely exempted you from that duty because I cherish you, but don’t get the wrong idea. Your duty hasn’t disappeared. You’ll have to fulfill it whenever it’s necessary.”
In Fleurose Kingdom, becoming the consort of royalty meant becoming a political tool. Royal families would bestow the most beautiful and exceptional omegas upon their loyal vassals as rewards, or share them with nobles to foster camaraderie.
Enrique had kept Violet secluded in their quarters, excluding her from all of this. This was the first time he had used his consort as a political tool—to offer her to the Crown Prince.
He uttered the words of duty in a stiff, strict tone, tinged with reproach. He wasn’t sure if he was addressing Violet or himself, but it didn’t matter to Violet. The outcome wouldn’t be drastically different either way.
Violet, quietly listening to him, wrapped her arms around his back, pulling him closer.
“Of course. Even though I was rejected, if His Highness the Crown Prince had chosen me, I would have gladly served him. It would have been a glorious opportunity for this lowly omega to contribute to His Royal Highness and the kingdom with my insignificant body.”
Enrique’s back, which she was touching with her palm, stiffened. Sensing it, Violet slightly twisted her lips. The expression, contrasting with her soft tone, was something Enrique would never see.
