The Obsessive Male Lead Is Jealous Of My Doll - Chapter 58
Chapter 29.2
She couldn’t help but worry if it might have been an earthquake.
As the glacier from the massive ice wall crumbled, an enormous chunk of ice crashed into the river. Thankfully, the glacier was far enough from the shore that there was no immediate danger to the people on land.
But then—
Huge waves began surging, crashing against the small fishing boats and threatening to capsize them.
“Dangerous!”
Even before her voice reached them, Ignis and the knights rushed toward the riverbank.
“Stella, it’s dangerous, so stay inside the tent. Don’t go anywhere.”
Stella, still holding onto Leah, nodded her head.
As she watched the child go back into the tent, Karentina moved toward Ignis and the knights with Sasha and Zion. In that moment of panic, everyone seemed at a loss, unsure of what to do. Ignis’s hand glowed with red magic as he created a massive wall of fire. The fiery barrier blocked the water’s path, acting like a dam around the fishermen.
‘Oh my God.’
Everyone nearby was overwhelmed by Ignis’s transcendent power. Karentina, too, felt a chill run down her spine.
However, it seemed that going against the force of nature was too much for Ignis to handle alone. The distance from the boats to the shore was far too great for the people who had fallen into the water to swim back. She couldn’t just stand by and watch the people of the North drown.
Without even realizing it, Karentina spoke urgently.
‘Zion! I’ll make a wish. Please save them!’
Zion, who had been watching her with a serious expression, shook his head firmly.
[ Karen, your magic power… ]
‘I still have a little left.’
[ That guy is there too. ]
As Zion clenched his teeth, gesturing toward Ignis with his eyes, Karentina felt her heart sink.
‘We can’t just sit back and do nothing while people are dying.’
With a sigh, Zion spoke in a cold voice.
[ When you retrieve the magic stone, give me double. I’ll help you on that condition. But this will be the last time I help you, remember that. ]
As soon as Karentina nodded, Zion began to draw an intricate magic circle in the air.
“Incredible, such a spell is possible!”
“Oh, my God…”
The knights stood in stunned amazement, watching Zion’s magic circle. Before long, the people who had been trapped in the river began to float and were brought safely ashore.
Ignis stared at him in disbelief before quickly dispelling his fire barrier, allowing the split waters to merge back into one.
As he watched the people who had made it safely to land, Ignis then conjured small flames around them, instantly evaporating the water clinging to their clothes. To control the fire so freely without harming anyone… his abilities were truly on another level.
What could have turned into a dangerous situation with possible hypothermia was avoided, thanks to Zion and Ignis, leaving everyone unharmed.
Thank goodness.
She was about to turn around in relief when—
[ Lady Karentina, please help! Princess Stella is… ]
At the sound of Leah’s urgent voice, a sense of dread washed over her. It felt as though her heart had plummeted to the ground.

“It’s dangerous, so stay inside the tent.”
Following Karentina’s words, Stella returned to the tent and plopped down on a chair. She placed Leah on her lap and swung her legs back and forth playfully.
‘If only I’d awakened as a Transcendent, I could’ve helped people as well.’
As she wiggled her fingers, feeling a bit disappointed, Leah gently tapped her hand.
Stella smiled at Leah and took out another cupcake topped with raspberry jam. Just as she was about to take a big bite, she heard a faint rustling from one side of the tent. Leah seemed to hear it, too, as her ears perked up repeatedly.
Intrigued, Stella quietly gazed in the direction of the sound.
“Huh?”
The child blinked several times, unable to believe what she was seeing. A small, white bear cub was wandering around near the basket.
“It’s a baby bear. How cute!”
The bear cub, with its round, obsidian-like eyes and soft white fur, sniffed around, seemingly drawn by the sweet scent in the air. It became interested in the cupcake Stella was holding and cautiously approached her before it abruptly shivered and let out a small whimper.
“What’s wrong?”
Stella suddenly recalled the perfume that Karentina had sprayed earlier. The baby bear, looking uncomfortable, rubbed its nose and sneezed.
Startled, the child accidentally dropped the cupcake she was holding.
The cupcake rolled over to the baby bear’s feet, and it quickly snatched it up before scurrying out of the tent.
“Ah!“
In a daze, Stella exited the tent and followed the bear into the forest. Despite Leah frantically jumping up and down, crossing her arms in an ‘X’ and trying to say that it was dangerous, she couldn’t reach Stella, as the little girl’s attention was entirely captured by the bear.
Leah quickly climbed down from the chair and tried to follow Stella, but in her doll-like body, she moved painfully slowly. The cotton inside her became damp from the snow, making her movements even more sluggish.
[ I can’t do it on my own. I have to ask Lady Karentina for help. ]
Just as Leah was about to call out for Karentina…
“Ugh…”
A faint groan from Stella reached her ears, and Leah, dragging her heavy little body, headed toward the sound. Thanks to Stella’s jet-black hair contrasting against the white snow, Leah quickly found the child and let out a small sigh of relief as she approached.
Beside Stella were two bear cubs playing with the cupcake in their mouths.
“Heup…”
Stella was sitting on the ground, where snow and dirt had mixed, trembling violently. Her cute pink dress was completely stained red.
