The Obsessive Male Lead Is Jealous Of My Doll - Chapter 31
16 — 1
Karentina reached for the magic stone attached to the prison gate in the blizzard and opened the door to where the butler was imprisoned.
“Zion.”
With a quick stride, he pushed Diane into the prison cell.
“Aah!”
“Rest comfortably until His Highness the Crown Prince arrives. Don’t even think about doing anything foolish.”
While Diane’s face contorted in anguish as she clutched at her hair, Karentina smiled and left the prison with Joseph.
“Thank you, Sir Butler.”
She thanked Joseph, who readily came to me despite the sudden call. He chuckled and waved his hand.
“It’s no problem. I’m always up early for early morning training anyway, and now I’m able to enjoy my morning training while thinking of handmaid Timothia’s dumbfounded expression.”
Joseph bowed and left for the training ground.
Karentina gazed quietly at the sky, which hadn’t yet dawned. Come to think of it, why hasn’t Zion come out yet?
‘Zion, what are you doing? I’m sleepy.’
In response to her voice, he replied in an uncharacteristically mischievous tone.
[ Master, go ahead and get some more sleep. I’ll be up soon as well. ]
‘Is there something he wants to find out from them? Well… it should be fine.’
At the thought, Karentina stifled a constant stream of yawns and turned to leave.

Zion, who had been talking to Karentina in a playful tone just moments ago, shifted his gaze to an expressionless face.
“Unlike Karen, I’m used to having blood on my hands.”
Timothia, the butler, and Diane shuddered. Their faces grew increasingly ashen as they realized the foreboding atmosphere.
“How dare a mere puppet.”
As Timothia ground her teeth in disgust, Zion let out a chuckle in response.
From the beginning, he was a shapeless monster—a lonely monster with no one to recognize him. Now, he was even being called a puppet. This situation was quite pleasing to him.
“I’m better than you disgusting people.”
Zion waved his hand and touched the torture magic stone.
“Keuuuaaak!”
“Kyaaaak!”
The three people’s desperate screams echoed throughout the prison.
“Noisy.”
Zion cast a spell to seal their mouths and watched their faces slowly begin to unravel with indifferent eyes.
Before her soul was changed, he had no interest in Karentina. However, the current Karentina, who had become his master, was different. He remembered how much pain his master had suffered because of the emotions and memories lingering in her body. Although he hadn’t suffered directly, he could indirectly feel the pain she suffered through the traces of abuse left on her body.
‘She was very hurt and sad.’
For some reason, it felt like his chest was throbbing.
…Was this what human emotions feel like?
After torturing them just enough not to kill them, Zion stopped the magic stone and looked down at the three people without any emotion. He stared coldly at them as they lay on the ground, gasping for breath.
“I’ll come visit often. Now, I have to prepare Karen’s morning milk tea. Goodbye.”
With a harmless smile like that of a child, he left the prison. The three soon lost consciousness, unable to endure the excruciating pain.

When the former butler and trash, who had been acting like kings in the castle, were thrown out, the existing employees were able to quickly find stability by recognizing Zion as the head butler.
“Zion, make sure these documents go through without any issues. And don’t forget to request a visit from the Begonia Merchant Association.”
“Yes, Master.”
Zion bowed his head gracefully.
[ Karen, what are you going to do about the Imperial Consort’s magic tool? ]
“I was just about to send a signal.”
At his question, Karentina put down her quill and took out a gold pocket watch and a pre-written letter from the drawer. It was the very magic tool that Timothia had been looking for. On the surface, it looked like an ordinary pocket watch, though when the cover was opened, there were black and gold magic stones attached inside.
‘It was a tool made to steal Stella’s magic power and report if the task was a success.’
Since absorbing the power of a transcendent would take time, the signal couldn’t be sent immediately.
“Zion, where are the pirates’ ships right now?”
Zion twirled his fingers to determine their location before responding in a cheerful tone.
“I was just about to tell you. They’re at the entrance to where the navigation coordinates were set.”
“Good. Wake them up.”
Karentina glared at the magic tool with cold eyes and pressed the black magic stone without hesitation.

Thuummp. Kkiiikk.
As a strange sound flowed through his ears, Oswell, a pirate under Duke Horton’s command, struggled to open his eyes.
“When did I… collapse? Ugh. My head feels like it’s going to explode.”
Rubbing his stiff neck, he instinctively sensed an eerie energy. Despite the fact that it had been decades since he was a pirate who treated murder as child’s play, he had never encountered such an atmosphere before. He quickly turned his head towards the window in the captain’s quarters.
“W-What the hell is this…”
He staggered back in such extreme fear that he couldn’t even scream.
