Savage Forest - Chapter 136.1
Enya quickly turned away in embarrassment.
She couldn’t quite understand why she was feeling so shy now. But it was impossible to help herself. He looked like a god from a myth, and she felt like she wouldn’t survive if she made eye contact with him.
She didn’t know why her heart was racing so wildly.
‘It’s not like this is the first time seeing him like this.’
In her mind, she wanted to slap her own cheek multiple times.
As she stealthily moved to the opposite side of the water, the sound of footsteps grew closer. Was he coming closer?
Then, a warm, wet hand gently brushed against the back of her neck.
Unconsciously, she flinched from the tickling sensation. Without thinking, she reached out and grabbed his hand. He was holding something, something very slippery.
“Ah…”
When she turned slightly, Tarhan was much closer than she had realized. He had placed whatever he was holding into her hand. It looked like a net made from spiderwebs and inside were strange pieces.
As she held it, small bubbles began to form.
“This is from the worksite earlier. They told me it’s a kind of fragrance used for bathing in Nervana.”
Enya looked at it curiously. As he said, it had a pleasant scent.
“This is how it’s used.”
Tarhan took the net back from her hand and, with one hand, began gently rubbing her back.
She allowed him to do so for a moment.
The net, made from the tough skull spider’s web, was surprisingly soft, much softer than his rough hands. He was so careful as he rubbed her back that it felt almost like he was spreading foam from feathers onto her skin.
After he had rubbed her back, shoulders, neck, and arms clean, he took the foam from the net and placed it gently on her face.
His touch hesitated for a moment.
Enya closed her eyes and let him take care of her face.
His soft touch carefully caressed her cheeks, nose, and forehead. As he gently rubbed her, the foam on her cheek caused his lips to curl into a smile.
Without tiring, he moved his hands back down her arms, gently taking hold of her small hands. His hands, full of foam, wrapped around her tiny hands and gently kneaded them. The sensation was so ticklish that Enya could hardly stop laughing.
“Huh, huuh.”
Enya couldn’t help but let out a soft giggle and a little moan as his rough fingertips rubbed against her comparatively softer palm, causing a strange, ticklish sensation.
His hands, which had massaged her own, now moved toward her belly, where they gently traced the curves of her swollen abdomen.
His touch was careful as he slowly ran both hands over her belly, then moved up toward her hair.
After removing the foam from the net, Tarhan began to gently wash her hair. His meticulous movements ensured every inch was touched, even the tight muscles at the back of her neck, which he kneaded with his large hands, giving her a soothing, almost indescribable feeling.
Then, he murmured quietly.
“When your hair was long, it always felt like my heart stopped every time I saw you.”
Enya instinctively tensed at what might come next. Tarhan had always loved her long hair, even to the point of stroking it when she slept.
Worried that he might be disappointed with her now-short hair, Enya swallowed a dry gulp. She was ready to tell him that hair grows back quickly and that he shouldn’t be disappointed. However, his next words caught her completely off guard.
“…Now that it’s short, it feels like I’m washing a forest fairy.”
She blinked, rubbing her foamy face with her wet hands.
Her cheeks flushed instantly.
…A forest fairy.
His words were so unlike him, yet he continued to gently massage her hair.
Soon, her eyes began to sting.
Squinting a few times, Tarhan quickly cupped water in his palm and washed her face. It felt like she was being treated like a child. He repeatedly scooped water and carefully wiped her face clean.
“Alright, time for a dip.”
He playfully said as he wiped the water that had gathered at the corners of her eyes. It was quicker for her to dive in and rinse the remaining foam off herself than for him to do it.
Laughing softly, Enya submerged herself fully in the water. It felt like playing with him.
As she dove under, Enya quickly wiped away the foam from the remaining spots.
She surfaced again, and Tarhan, as if he had been waiting, helped rinse her wet hair. After she thoroughly washed the foam from her back, she felt refreshed.
“Now it’s my turn.”
It was Tarhan’s turn. Enya grabbed the spiderweb net from Tarhan’s hands, who was standing blankly after washing Enya.
“Turn around, Tarhan.”
He didn’t refuse. Slowly, he turned his body in the water.
As he turned, his back was revealed.
The sun had completely set, but the cave-dwelling bugs and the bright moonlight made the surroundings still vividly clear.
It wasn’t just clear. It was almost dazzling.
Enya started to slowly rub his back with the net. She couldn’t help but laugh. How long would it take to scrub this entire back clean?
“Tarhan, lean down.”
It was too high, and even standing on tiptoe, she couldn’t reach his crown.
“Ah, okay.”
He lowered himself under the water, and with that, Enya was able to scrub his back thoroughly, and she carefully worked the foam into his damp hair.
