With a ghastly scream, the entrance to the space gradually started to shrink. Then, something bizarre happened.
The giant forearm that had been protruding from the space entrance shrunk and severed itself like a lizard detaching its tail.
Simultaneously, the entrance was sealed, with only a slight opening left, just as Irene had anticipated—the gateway for the monsters was closed.
