My Dear Grand Duke on a Leash - Chapter 94
Chapter 47.1 — Chalonné’s Man (10)
He bound her wrists together and pinned her to the bed, covering her mouth with his other hand.
“Ppik! Pppiiikk! Ppiik!”
As Ian screamed and flailed in the cage, Riette’s muffled cries burst out from Narkissis’s big hand. Ian, who had been bumping around inside the cage, quickly slipped through the crumpled gap in the door and flew out beyond the window.
No matter how much she flailed her legs as he climbed on top of her body and pressed down on her, it was no use. Although he wasn’t as tall as Cain, Narkissis was still quite tall and well-trained, while Riette’s build was much smaller than average.
Her neatly styled hair was completely disheveled on the white bed. In addition, the makeup that had meticulously covered her neck was smudged, revealing kiss marks and bite marks, and her struggles had caused the buttons on her chest to come undone.
The tightly pressed pale cleavage was revealed to him.
“….”
Narkissis stared intensely at the heavy, swaying mass of flesh and tilted his head slightly. Pressing down on Riette, he kept his mouth shut and breathed heavily for a while. He looked like he was lost in thought about something.
‘Nineteen, twenty. Twenty-one…’
He was counting the number of petals that had bloomed.
“What is this? He’s not even a d*mn dog…”
He muttered through clenched teeth.
“…Ugh!”
Taking advantage of the opportunity when his focus was on her cleavage, she bit down on his hand. Narkissis reflexively loosened his grip, startled by the sudden pain. At that moment, Riette used all her strength, reached for the nightstand, and grabbed an object before she swung it with all her might.
Ppaak!
“Kuuek…!”
When she struck his head with something unknown, it didn’t break but instead made a dull sound as it fell to the floor. It seemed that it missed the mark due to a lack of strength.
It was a porcelain vase. Purple petals and droplets of water spilled messily on his head.
For a moment, she tried to push him away when he lost some strength, but once again, it wasn’t enough. He soon tightened his grip on her again and bound her even tighter. The wrist he was gripping hurt so much it felt like it might break, and tears welled up.
Narkissis looked down at Riette. His pupils narrowed with excitement as an amused laugh escaped his lips. In any case, whether she hit him or not, he let blood dripped from his forehead and twisted his mouth into a smirk.
“Do you know, Riette? You always… surpass me. In expectations, and in predictions as well.”
“Hhup…! Uhhp!”
“I’m always curious. When I light the fire, it seems like you’ll show me another side of yourself. Like a toy that transforms anew every day. But you know…”
The twisted smile that had lingered on his lips gradually faded away.
“I want that, yet strangely, when I see it with my own eyes, it feels weird and irritating. I wonder why?”
The smile vanished, and his face turned grim.
Riette was frozen, losing even the will to resist in an instant. If there were such a thing as the gaze of a killer, it seemed to belong to him now. In the dimly lit bedroom, those red glowing eyes looked eerie, as if they desired fresh blood. He looked at her with a broken expression as if a screw had come loose.
“Lariette, tell me. Why is it that you with Acheron…”
Suddenly, the bedroom door burst open.
Thud!
Both their gazes turned to the doorway at the same time.
“….!”
It was Ceres.
She stood frozen in shock at the doorway. The sight of her second daughter sprawled on the bed, pinned down by a foreign prince. At the moment when Ceres barely exhaled the breath she had been holding—
Ppaak!
—Riette slammed his forehead into Narkissis’s head.
“Kuheeuk!”
Narkissis’s body tilted backward. It was because the spot she struck on his forehead again was exactly where the vase had hit. Then, taking advantage of when he momentarily lost his strength, Riette struggled one more time, and Narkissis finally fell to the foot of the bed with a thud.
“Your Highness Narkissis!”
“Riette!”
The shouts of the two women echoed through the bedroom—amid the sharp voices was a fragile, spring-like tone. It was only then that Riette realized that her sister was also standing behind their mother. Ceres, who had rushed into the bedroom, hurriedly helped Narkissis off the floor while Bea sat on the edge of the bed and cupped Riette’s cheek.
“Oh my God, Riette!”
“Sister…”
The color drained from Bea’s face. A trail of red and bite marks across the nape of her sister’s neck, a torn blouse, and traces of a struggle. The look in her terrified sister’s eyes as she gasped for breath…
Her amethyst eyes lit up with fury. As she turned sharply to face Narkissis, Ceres’s ivory-colored dress fluttered in front of her eyes.
Slap!
Riette’s head snapped around.
It was Ceres who slapped her cheek.
