My Dear Grand Duke on a Leash - Chapter 43
Chapter 22.1 — How to create a child (13)
In fact, Riette was a princess who grew up somewhat overprotected in certain aspects.
It was because Bea, who was tirelessly bothered by the attention of men, had made sure that her sister wasn’t subjected to the same unwanted attention. In addition, Ceres, who was as conservative as people from a hundred years ago in matters of gender roles, enthusiastically agreed, so Riette was protected like a fortress by the two women without even realizing it.
Furthermore, girlish notions like love, dating and even whimsical pursuits of chasing after animals actively contributed to shaping a blank slate-like perception of s*x
Even though Ceres wasn’t pleased with her second daughter’s hobby of being teased as an animal lover in the media, she let it be. She was already preoccupied with Bea, and there was no time to waste on Riette.
However, since Riette was also turning twenty and she wouldn’t have anyone to share these stories with after she got married, Bea’s ambiguous sense of responsibility, thinking that now might be the time to tell her properly, played a role in pushing her sister to this point.
“…Grand Duke?”
She called out, but Cain didn’t say anything.
The tension in the pit of her stomach made Riette clench her fist tightly. She felt like a student waiting for her test results. She hadn’t even dreamed that she would become a foolish student who stayed up all night poring over irrelevant textbooks…
Cain simply gritted his teeth quietly.
Did she even know what goes where and how? Although it would be right to ask, at this point, even the thought of asking irritated him.
In the restlessness, his reason was pushed to its limit.
“….”
He wondered if this innocent princess knew what kind of dream the man in front of her had about her last night? She probably has no idea how hard he tried to avoid indulging in the vulgar act of reliving and savoring that lustful dream every morning.
Bringing up a topic like this in front of a man tormented by l*wd and filthy dreams that intensify every day… didn’t that suggest it was permissible for him to just do it?
When he slowly lifted his face from his hands at the thought, Riette, who met his gaze, was taken aback.
It was because an unfamiliar heat she had never seen before filled his eyes, causing her body to contort as if she couldn’t stand it. As Cain strode towards her, she shrank back exactly as much as he had closed the distance between them. It was a reflexive response.
Thud.
Her shoulders jumped in surprise when her back touched the garden wall.
Just as he reached out an arm with his hand gripping the garden wall, Riette, completely engulfed in his shadow, clasped her hands in front of her chest and huddled her shoulders.
“Grand, Grand Duke…?”
Since he had pinned her with one arm, it would have been easy to escape to the side, but her legs were stiffened as if stuck in stubborn mud, preventing any movement. His gaze was so intense that it could be seen as if he had cast a spell.
His expression as he tilted his head to look down at her was unfamiliar. It was uncharacteristically heated.
“Have you ever touched yourself, Princess?”
Touched…?
Tilting her head, Riette covered her shoulders with her arms. She didn’t let out a sigh or lower her head.
…As expected, it was just a response akin to a period at the end of a sentence.
When Cain raised his previously empty arm and gently grasped her wrist as if struck by lightning, her shoulders jerked upwards and the woman in front of him froze in place.
“I’ll tell you what is the act of accepting a man right now.”
“…N-now, here?”
“If you dislike it or feel scared, refuse it. If words don’t come out, pushing me away, shaking your head… even just giving a hint will make me stop. So…”
As he held her hand and pulled it, the held wrist felt like it was burning with heat. Her hand felt numb, and her mouth went dry.
“You promise not to bring up marriage-like matters again, ever. Swear it.”
“Promise me that you’ll never mention anything like marriage again.”
Seeing her nod with her lips tightly sealed, relief and lament passed through his pupils at the same time.
But that, too, was fleeting.
Having asked for permission, it was as if he was saying he wouldn’t hesitate—his blue eyes sparked. The moment he bit the tip of her silk glove into his mouth, Riette’s breath caught in her throat as the soft, velvety lips touched hers through the glove. Gazing intently into her eyes, he tilted his head and slowly removed the glove.
Air touched her bare skin.
Just as the silk glove dropped to the floor with a soft thud, embarrassment set her cheeks ablaze.
‘… It’s just my hand. Yet, it’s as embarrassing and shameful as if he’s taking off my underwear.’
Her toes curled inside her shoes. Thankfully, he wasn’t trying to remove her socks…
Relief mingled with a fluttering heart. As he bent his arm that caged Riette, drawing closer, Cain lowered his arm.
“….!”
She couldn’t even dare to take a proper breath. It was because at a place where she just lived without even being aware of it usually… he had slipped his hand over the hidden, secret crevice.
