“The sea, the seeaa…”
Muttering an unknown tune, Blanc got up and neatly combed his hair.
It was something a maid would usually do, but the room was empty.
As an adult dragon not accustomed to being served, he preferred to take care of himself.
After finishing his hair, Blanc looked into the mirror and changed his clothes.
Although Jung-in had gifted him several times with cravats, expensive high-end jackets, and shirts typical of nobles, he found shirts and loose pants the most comfortable.
“I’ve packed clothes to change into…”
Satisfied with the travel bag he had packed himself, Blanc stood up with a proud look on his face. It was time to meet Jung-in and Albert.
Looking at the clock, Blanc paused. He realized there was still half an hour left until the agreed time with Jung-in.
Excited about leaving today, he almost showed up early.
‘Ah, but that would annoy Albert.’
Even though they were always together, Albert enjoyed teasing Jung-in. This morning was no different.
‘That’s what it means to be a partner.’
The moment Albert met Jung-in, he had passed on the position of the dragon’s contractor to her.
Having once contracted with Blanc, Jung-in naturally took the contract back.
“It’s truly unpredictable how life turns out, passing on the contract I intended to take from you like this.”
Those were Albert’s words before transferring the contract.
Jung-in and Blanc became contractors again, and Jung-in regained the power to traverse dimensions.
Even though he was no longer a dragon’s contractor, Albert’s status did not change.
He continued to elevate his power even after becoming a contractor and ultimately became the only transcendent who could cross dimensions without a dragon’s power.
This was a realm even Emmett had not reached.
The two of them crossed dimensions and returned to the place they originally lived, starting to live there again.
And finally, they were able to go on the long-desired journey.
Of course, they had to wait three months after returning.
Blanc shuddered as he recalled Albert carrying Jung-in straight to the bedroom.
…It was a relief that the emotions and thoughts between contractors were only transmitted when mutually desired.
Blanc habitually glanced at the clock again—still twenty minutes left.
He already packed everything and also finished dressing himself, so he couldn’t think of anything else to do.
‘Maybe I should sleep.’
Sleep was no longer a necessity for survival but a pleasure. The sensation of burrowing into a fluffy blanket was always delightful.
At that moment, a sound broke through Blanc’s thoughts.
“Yo!”
Alexander, now in his polymorphed form with blue hair, waved from the balcony.
“Weren’t you supposed to leave…?”
“I’ve already visited and returned. I came because I thought you’d be lonely going alone.”
“Wow…”
Blanc responded in a flat tone, looking down at Alexander who shrugged his shoulders.
Alexander complained about Blanc’s lack of enthusiasm. Of course, it didn’t affect Blanc at all.
“No, seriously, I came thinking of you! Look, Albert and Jung-in are a couple. And there’s definitely something going on between Schubert and Mercy. Liam will just be working all the time even if he goes.”
Alexander was well-versed in the dynamics of the people around Albert.
Having roamed around Korea in Jung-in’s dimension, indulging in various food adventures, Alexander spoke, showing off his plump cheeks.
Blanc raised a finger and poked Alexander’s plump cheek.
“I gave up a whole month… Now it’s my turn to have some fun with them….”
Albert might not be pleased, but Jung-in always kept her promises to him. He knew it would be the same this time.
“Well, that’s not wrong.”
Alexander reluctantly admitted, thinking of Jung-in. But he couldn’t help feeling concerned for Blanc.
This white dragon was unusually devoted to Jung-in.
He acted as if protecting and living for her was his sole purpose in life.
Of course, it wasn’t the same kind of love Albert felt for her.
Blanc never felt jealous when Albert and Jung-in were together.
But the only people Blanc had truly let into his life were Jung-in, Albert, and himself.
He constantly worried if waiting by their side would hurt him. Even after living for over 500 years, he still worried about this naive dragon.
When they first met, Blanc seemed like a simple-minded dragon, but now Alexander felt a parental concern.
At the very least, if someone were by his side….
“Don’t you want to find a mate?”
Blanc paused and replied indifferently.
“Well, if I meet one, I meet one… if not, I’ll just stay with Jung-in and Albert…”
Seeing Blanc’s lackadaisical attitude, Alexander could only clutch his head in frustration.
“Oh, it’s time.”
Blanc, who had been idly watching Alexander, quickly left the room.
