I Think I’m a Horror Game Villain - Chapter 48
Chapter 48
“It’s not particularly useful information, but I learned something important thanks to this.”
“Huh? What did you learn, Heyna?”
“Look, it says Hint 1 here. If there’s a number 1, there must be a number 2.”
“Oh, right. So what is it?”
“If we eliminate the dolls chasing us and break the springs inside them, we might get other hints, right?”
Rose nodded repeatedly after hearing my words.
“That’s right. Like Heyna said, we might get a hint to eliminate Anna if we break the springs.”
Zion had a terribly displeased expression. Knowing his personality perfectly, I immediately realized why his expression was so bad.
‘He must be upset that he won’t be able to show off his skills.’
Zion’s favorability was 0. There was no favorability lower than this, and I didn’t have the leeway to think about Zion’s favorability right now. I could raise his favorability slowly later. For now, surviving this game was the priority.
“Well, we don’t have time to stand around here! Tommy lured all the dolls away, didn’t he?”
“That’s right. Let’s quickly gather anything that can be used as a weapon and join up with Tommy.”
“Okay. I’ll beat the crap out of those dolls!”

“When mother goes to the mudflats to pick oyster♬ The baby remains alone watching the house♪”
Anna hummed a song and watched the situation through the eyes of her dolls.
“Oh, the rabbit doll is dead.”
The rabbit doll’s spring broke, and the connection to its vision was cut off.
“It was one of my favorite dolls.”
When a doll’s spring breaks, it can never move again. It was like family who had left her side forever.
“It’s okay. I can always make more friends.”
If a doll breaks, she can just make a new one. There were plenty of things here that could replace the rabbit doll.
“I want to play with Sister Heyna soon.”
If she won the ‘game,’ she could turn everyone into dolls. Dolls wouldn’t betray her like people did, so they wouldn’t hurt Anna. Therefore…
“I hope Sis Heyna becomes a doll soon too! I want to play with her as a doll every day~”
Anna was confident that she would definitely win this game.
‘Sis Heyna is smart, so she’ll quickly figure out that she can gather hints by breaking the springs and find a way to win the game.’
Even so, it was fine. Even if she gathered all the hints, Anna was confident that she would never lose.
There were a total of three hints that could be obtained by breaking the springs:
1. Anna is the master of the dolls.
2. Anna is also a doll.
3. If Anna’s spring is broken, Hide-and-Seek will end with the ‘player’s’ victory.
Anna was waiting. Waiting for Heyna, who had gathered all the hints, to come and meet her.
‘Five dolls have already been destroyed.’
Breaking a spring didn’t guarantee a hint. Hints were randomly placed in a few of the many springs.
‘How many hints has she gathered?’
Curious about what Heyna was doing, Anna chose a remaining doll and shared its vision. As it happened, the doll Anna shared vision with was near Heyna.
“Huh?”
On the railing of the central staircase leading from the second floor to the first floor. Heyna and Dekir were engaged in a scuffle there. No, to be precise, Dekir was unilaterally cornering Heyna.
Seeing Dekir strangling Heyna, Anna jumped to her feet.
“How dare he do that to her…!”
***
“Why, why are you doing this, Deki?”
“Well.”
Dekir’s expression was ambiguous, as if he were both angry and enjoying the situation. His eyes, which held a terrified Heyna, softened.
“Heyna.”
The fingers holding the nape of Heyna’s neck slowly grazed her skin. The fingers that had been pressing on her skin as if to crush it stopped for a moment.
Heyna’s body trembled at the murderous intent she felt from Dekir, who was pressing hard on the artery.
“You don’t know what I think every time I see you, do you?”
A voice as cold as the winter sea.
Goosebumps erupted at the low murmur that seemed to crawl out of the abyss.
“Wha-what are you thinking…?”
Dekir chuckled at Heyna’s nonchalant remark.
His mocking lips drew closer in an instant. Heyna involuntarily closed her eyes as his face approached as if to devour her.
She could feel his hot breath on her ear.
“I want to make you completely mine.”
Unlike the hand that seemed ready to strangle her at any moment, Dekir’s voice was sweet, like a lover whispering love.
“I want your eyes to hold only me, and your voice to call only my name.”
“….”
“I want all your emotions, joy, sadness, anger, contempt, to be caused only by me.”
Strange possessiveness and desire.
The emotion in his words was not love, but obsession.
“I love you, Heyna.”
A voice devoid of love whispered love in her ear.
“Gulp.”
A feeble force was applied to the hand that was strangling her neck. Heyna coughed dryly at the sensation of her windpipe being crushed.
Dekir’s gaze, looking down at Heyna, held the same amusement as a cat hunting a mouse.
It was clear that he was enjoying this situation.
“What about you? Do you love me?”
“Don’t do this, Deki….”
Heyna couldn’t put up any real resistance and could only plead.
Before she knew it, he was making eye contact with Heyna. His eyes gleamed as if he were a predator facing a delicious prey, and he pressed his lips closer. This time, not towards Heyna’s ear, but towards her lips.
Their lips drew closer with his hot breath. The moment the distance narrowed enough for their breaths to touch…
“You bastard! Get away from my sister right now!”
A furious voice called out to him.
