7. Farewell and reunion

“I’ll be back.”

“Sister, when will you come back?”

My cute younger sister cried as she tugged at my cloak.

“I’ll be back soon, Gael. You have to eat well and sleep well, understand?”

Seeing Gael dripping tears made my eyes watery too.

“If Gael stops crying and stays strong, Sister can come back quickly.”

As I firmly refused, Tess shook his head in regret.

“I’d rather not leave Alin… I will only send you off here.”

Maybe the reason he would rather not leave Alin was because of the devil?

The place I am heading to now is the ‘Emerald Lake’, which was supposed to be the entrance to the fairy world, where the angel bathed. Looking at the situation now, I suddenly became suspicious of the existence of that lake.

At least fairies would actually exist, and there is also the fairy world, so I should go there.
