I Became the Villain's Master - Chapter 52
Chapter 52
Kiris smiled in satisfaction and closed his eyes gently.
“If you don’t like Louis, just tell me. I’ll assign you a different escort.”
Then, Kiris said he wanted to take me to the Magic Tower, but I pretended not to hear him and looked away.
He really liked to escalate things, didn’t he?
“Excuse me, Lord of the Magic Tower?”
Just then, Mary, who was in the kitchen, cautiously poked her head out and spoke.
“Who’s that?”
“Oh, she’s Mary, my new personal maid. I introduced her to you before.”
When I hurriedly interjected, Kiris tilted his head. Mary hesitated for a moment before continuing, encouraged by his gaze.
“Miss Rosette is attending a banquet for the first time in a long time, so I was wondering if you could request the most beautiful dress in the Empire. I’ll stake my life on making her look fabulous!”
“I’ll keep that in mind.”
“T- thank you.”
Wait, what was going on?
Mary winked at me and left the room.
‘Why doesn’t anyone take my side?’
I muttered dejectedly, lamenting my fate.
“Well, I’ll see you in a few days. Mistress. I’m busy with work at the Magic Tower.”
After that, Kiris gave me one more freesia flower and returned to the Magic Tower.
“I’m still grateful.”
I muttered as I placed the freesia flower in a vase. I still couldn’t believe that I, of all people, would be attending a party with the main characters.
‘I should practice dancing in my room today.’
That night, when everyone was asleep, I had to practice dancing in my room until I was drenched in sweat.
‘If I step on his foot, he might turn evil….’
It was a matter of life and death for me.

Two days later.
“Miss Rosette. Do you know how long I’ve been waiting for this day?”
The owner of the most famous dress shop in the capital, Montblanc, came to visit me in person.
“Wow… Montblanc…?”
Mary, who had been standing at a distance, gasped in admiration and covered her mouth.
“Finally, miss!”
I listened to Mary’s emotional muttering with half an ear, staring blankly at the staff.
‘Kiris mentioned something about a dress. But Montblanc?!’
It was a famous dress shop that set trends with its unique designs, attracting attention even from other countries.
It was a popular choice among the imperial family, and reservations were usually booked several months in advance.
And now, the owner herself had come to visit me.
“Miss, please come to the room.”
Mary pulled me along. I should have shaken off her arm then and there, but I realized that too late.
“Here are the catalogs. Please choose the design you like, and we will use it as a reference.”
In the blink of an eye, I was holding a stack of catalogs.
“Excuse me, ma’am. Did Kiris send you here? Are you sure you’re not at the wrong place?”
I asked suspiciously, but she only gave me vague answers.
“Yes! Sir Kiris of the Magic Tower requested this. Shall we take your measurements?”
“Miss, would you like some help?”
Mary caught me as I stumbled, and the owner charged forward with a measuring tape, ready for action.
“Wait, wait a minute!”
The owner smiled broadly and chattered incessantly.
“We will not mention a word about you to anyone, miss. The Tower Lord values confidentiality above all else. Now come! Come this way. We must take your measurements!”
I smiled broadly before quickly closing my mouth. I couldn’t keep up with the rapid-fire speech of the Madam who was already walking away before I could even ask a question.
“I pledge the honor of my dress shop to create the most perfect dress for you, Miss.”
In the end, I was swept up in the Madam’s pace and naturally had my measurements taken. How long did it take?
After the measurements were complete, the Madam clapped her hands together and smiled.
“Oh my, this is wonderful. I’m already bursting with inspiration.”
Then, the Madam began a heated discussion with Mary about dress designs.
“Miss, what about this? This color would go well with your fair, white skin…”
“Ah! This fashionable dress would also look lovely on you. Master Kiris requested that you stand out more than anyone else.”
At the Madam’s request, an employee diligently recorded everything in detail with a pen. How could they possibly write down everything she said so quickly?
I was amazed by their incredibly fast hand movements. As expected of the Montblanc Dress Shop!
“I think I like this one.”
I pointed to the most modest design among the catalogs that the Madam and Mary had chosen.
“Master Kiris said that more dresses are better. So please trust my judgment!”
I couldn’t figure out what Kiris had said to make everyone so desperate to take care of my dress.
Did he threaten them or something?
It was a reasonable suspicion. Even now, he often said things like ‘I’ll kill them’ so casually.
The Madam roughly chose the accessories as well, and I just nodded in resignation.
“Please do as you wish.”
“Then, Miss, we will return once the dress is complete.”
They quickly gathered up the catalogs and disappeared like a receding tide.
Clack.
The door closed, and peace returned once more. Mary hummed a tune as she spoke.
“Wow. A dress from the Montblanc Dress Shop, Miss! It’s my first time seeing one in my life.”
“Mine too…”
Seriously, I felt exhausted even though I hadn’t done anything.
There was still some time left until the banquet, so there would be enough time for the sewing and tailoring.
Just thinking about having to repeat this process several more times made my head spin.
