Chapter 28.1
“Your Highness Cassel. You have really broken my heart.”
Leilia’s movements came to a halt upon hearing these words.
“What do you mean by that?”
“Are you familiar with His Highness Cassel’s school days, Madam Leilia?”
She didn’t know much about it.
“No.”
“Well, isn’t it strange for him to get confessions from female students almost once a week and never pay attention to them?”
Colia spoke quietly, recalling that time.
“He didn’t even read my letter and just returned it right back.”
Leilia’s eyes widened.
“I told him I’d forget about it if he asked me to dance once at the graduation party, so he became my partner, though he flatly refused, saying that he can’t dance.”
Colia grumbled as she continued.
“He was a man who really didn’t care about anyone! Everyone said he would never get married.”
She then smiled bitterly at the memory.
“So Cassel never danced with anyone?”
“He didn’t even dance with me, his partner.”
‘No!’
Until just a moment ago, she thought that Colia was the woman Cassel loved!
“….”
At this point, she thought it might be better to just ask him directly.
‘Still.’
It wasn’t easy for his wife to directly ask who the woman he had openly declared his love for was before.
“Anyway, he didn’t give his heart to anyone.”
Afterwards, Colia told her a lot about Cassel’s school days. She also mentioned that he was always at the top of his class in martial arts, which was quite annoying to others.

Leilia sighed as she parted ways with Colia and Resin and returned to the villa.
“What were you talking about?”
Cassel seemed a little nervous.
“I heard about your school days.”
“Oh, I see.”
Hearing that, he went on while glancing at Leilia.
“I’m asking that because I thought Colia said something strange.”
It seemed like he was worried that she might have said something unnecessary.
“I heard that even though you were partners, you didn’t dance with her.”
He furrowed his brow at Leilia’s words.
“I don’t think being forced like that is being partners.”
“Forced?”
“She hid my sword and threatened me to become her partner if I wanted to find it.”
The sword was given to him by Leilia.
“She probably conveniently left that part out.”
Cassel grumbled.
“You must have been really close.”
Leilia smiled at him. It was because she felt like their relationship lacked formality.
He sighed at her words.
“We don’t really communicate separately. Anyway, she knew she was wrong and didn’t write me any letters.”
Cassel just left it like that. It seemed that he was saying that they were no longer close after drawing a line. In the meanwhile, in response to his sharp answer, Leilia leaned back against the carriage wall for a moment before she opened her mouth again.
“What does a wife mean to Cassel?”
She was suddenly curious about what kind of wife he had in mind. Did he cry when he realized she was chosen to be his wife?
For her, she was a little happy herself.
Still, it was also a secret that could never be told.
“If you are a wife, first of all, you are precious.”
As he said that, he smiled.
“Isn’t that something I should carry with me for the rest of my life?”
After saying that, he touched her cheek.
“I’m going to kiss you.”
“Cassel.”
“You left me alone, just the two of us and playing. That works well with Resin.”
Uttering so, he stole Leilia’s lips. He seemed a little angry as he bit her lips persistently. It was as if everyone should know who she was with and what she had been doing.
“Cassel…”
She gasped for breath.
Each time he bit her lips, the stimulation made her feel like she was going crazy. At the same time, she was embarrassed by the sound that came out.
“It’s still not enough.”
After saying that, he took her breath away again.

After arriving at the villa, Seychelle and the other workers began organizing their luggage and preparing for dinner. As evening approached, Leilia and Cassel’s carriage arrived. Even though the carriage had stopped, they didn’t get off. Nevertheless, neither the coachman nor Seychelle dared to approach the carriage to find the two of them.
Weren’t they no different from newlyweds?
A short time later, the two, whose faces were slightly flushed, got off the carriage. Still, it was very evident that Leilia’s lips were swollen, indicating what the two had been doing in secret. Leilia made eye contact with her and lowered her head. Even though she tried to act as if she didn’t know, a smile involuntarily appeared on Seychelle’s face.
“It’s because of Cassel.”
Her master’s grumbling sounded very pleasant.
Despite the fact that she had always seemed reluctant to suppress herself and protect herself from unfair treatment, in front of Cassel, there was none of that.
That was how much Leilia felt for him.
And Cassel also had affection for her… although it was still uncertain if it was love or not.
‘But…’
What if it wasn’t love?
Nonetheless, he was treating Raelia with affection, treating her as his wife… and Leilia must have considered that important.
Seychelle smiled at them without saying a word.
