Leshulean’s expression wasn’t good.
Sitting across from him, Chelias sipped his tea and observed the Emperor’s expression. Initially, the Emperor’s plan was for Cassel to receive the bouquet, invite him to the palace for tea and spend some time with another woman while he prepared for the banquet.
However, as if having foreseen the scenario, Cassel seemed somewhat disgruntled as he took his wife’s hand and left for their mansion.
“No, to reject Carania, the most beautiful woman in the empire!”
Leshulean recalled himself during his time in Cassel. It was a time when he felt like he could do anything and also a time when she liked beautiful young ladies. But later on, he prioritized practicality over appearance.
“His Highness Cassel wanted Lady Leilia from the beginning.”
At Chelias’s words, Leshulean furrowed his brow.
“She doesn’t suit Cassel.”
He refused to listen to Chelias’s words.
“I need to push a little harder.”
In response to Leshulean’s statement, Chelias suppressed a laugh. Naturally, when the Emperor insisted, most things were accomplished. This was because there were very few who could sway his opinions.
What about Prince Cassel?
Chelias squinted his eyes.
There seemed to be a lot of interesting incidents that would happen at the banquet hall.

Without a word, he gently pressed his lips against hers. In response to his touch, Leilia wrapped her arms around his neck.
“I’ve wanted to do this since the first time I saw you.”
“Why?”
“Isn’t it a husband’s instinct to want to covet his wife?”
In response to her question, he came out a little stronger, and their lips met again. As if holding back for a long time, Cassel fervently kissed her lips and whispered.
“I can do such things to you with impunity now.”
In the midst of dazedness, her whole body shuddered at his whispered words, engulfed in heat, as they shared a passionate kiss in this way. As his lips moved toward where the necklace had been, Cassel whispered after hastily undoing the back.
“The necklace was getting in the way.”
Leilia nodded without a word. It seemed like she could understand the reason he had taken off the necklace. After the long, lingering kiss ended, she drew in a breath as Cassel opened his mouth again and asked.
“The bouquet was beautiful.”
Her lips turned a shade redder. The lingering sensation of his kiss still seemed faintly present.
“It’s not over yet. I still have to fulfill my husband’s duties.”
After those words left his lips, he reclaimed her breath with another kiss after he finished his words. Their breaths mingled once more, ushering Leilia into a realm of ecstasy. Amidst the tender rise and fall of the kiss, she felt a rush of pleasure.
‘…It seemed that this was how it felt to be loved by him as a wife.’
“Cassel.”
His breath grew even more fervent as she softly called his name.
They were engrossed in their kiss until Seychelle knocked on the door, saying that it was time to prepare for the inauguration ceremony.

“Let’s fix your makeup a little bit.”
Seychelle powdered Leilia’s face as she sat down.
While it would have been perfectly acceptable to don the attire she had worn during the procession, Leilia had chosen not to. Instead, she brought another set of clothes from the storage and decided to wear that. Of course, the blue diamond was still adorning her. For this occasion, she had selected a blue gown with sheer sleeves, which notably showcased her arms.
Surprisingly, the outfit complemented her appearance more than she had expected. The only problem was that Cassel kept gazing at her arms with an expression of unease. With his arms crossed, he finally parted his lips after a while.
“Is there anything else besides that dress?”
“I have the black dress His Majesty sent me.”
At Leilia’s words, Cassel furrowed his brow.
“Isn’t it pretty?”
“It suits you too well, that’s the problem .”
‘…What could be the problem?’
“Then, there shouldn’t be a problem, right?”
As Leilia spoke calmly, Cassel exhaled as if he had something to say but refrained from saying it.
“I think I’m going to have to wear this for now.”
It was because they didn’t have much time left.
“It’s tight.”
“You weren’t coming out even when I called from outside, so I had to knock.”
“Thank you, Seychelle.”
Leilia recalled what had happened in the room. His lips mingled with hers, creating a fervent heat. Even now, the electrifying sensation still seemed to linger on her lips.
She wondered if he felt the same way.
